Season 3 Cancelled Indefinitely

Funnyman Dave Chappelle has sparked speculation of an imminent return to his hit TV show, after he performed unannounced at two Hollywood comedy clubs.

Last month, the comedian abandoned work on his award-winning The Dave Chappelle Show to go to South Africa on a "spiritual retreat", prompting questions about his health.

But Chappelle, who is the highest paid comedian in the U.S., proved there's nothing to worry about when he surprised fans with performances at the Comedy Store and the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles.

His publicist says there is still no update on the status of his comedy show, which was postponed indefinitely when Chappelle took his leave.

Since Dave took a trip to Africa, the show's stuck in limbo.!
